Hullo Guys

It happened a lot last season where I had to cancel some peoples bets as they posted late. I never liked doing this (and actually the difference of one minute actually cost Simon J the BTO title strangely enough - although im sure Stu was happy lol)

What do people think about changing the deadline for both Euro/ Cup games and league to 7pm?

I dont think Rich ever gets the results up earlier than that, and it would give more flexibility to people coming back from work etc

What do people think? I am completely open to this as can see the arguments for both so the poll will decide the issue

And yes - ill post on thursday that the poll is closed - but the effect will be immediate so id imagine looking at the way its going - the new deadline will be 7pm

Unfortunately, changing the BTO deadline would impact on results. Even if league results aren't up by then, live games may be. The room for uncertainty could lead to difficult situations down the line, and I just think it's better to leave your deadline matching FA deadline so everyone knows where they stand.

After all, getting home late Friday is a poor excuse when you could have done it earlier in the week - it only takes a little forward planning.

Good point Rich - I had forgotten about Live games going up earlier

Sorry chaps - deadline stands at 4pm (same as FA deadline) and cannot be changed
