FA fairplay.

Right i know most of you are thinking what is he upto again?biggrin

im just thinking of spicing the game up a bit.

FA fairplay, What it says on the tin. Basically at the end of each season, One team that has the least Yellow and Red cards from Each Country battle it out for a place in Europe, I have never been in Europe so i dont know how it runs but its just an idea to spice the game up a bit. If a team from the same country has the same yellow and red card stats then the results they had in previous games against each other will put them through.

Ideas welcomesmile

The European Cup can only hold 12 teams in the current format. It would either have to take extra teams - which would result in the format changing (currently 3 groups of 4 then a knock out) - or each country would have to designate 1 of the 4 qualifying positions to a fair play scheme. This might mean 3rd in the league doesn't qualify for Europe then.

The alternative is to have two European competitions as in real life. Have a much smaller European Cup for the top teams, then have the next band of teams play in a different Euro Cup - and have fair play qualifiers go into this. However this dual European dup idea has no backing from managers in the game as of yet.
