Manager: - Stadium Capacity: 13,500 Average Attendance predicted this season: 13,500
Value of club: £9 million Minimum buy out price: £5 million
Bank Balance: £-8.2 million Bank Loans: £0 million
Notes: Southampton have entered administration and are currently trying to sell players to clear this. If funds can't be raised a bank loan will be taken to cover the debt. Bank loans incur lower interest rates than normal Bank Balance debts. With the club in administration the administrators would start the bidding at the minimum buy out price to try to incourage a new owner with fresh funding.
FA will post to allow bidding on the club to begin 3 days after the initial interest was made into the club. Only managers who register interest in those 3 days will be able to bid.
Managers from the following clubs can now bid on the club having expressed interest in the opening 3 day period:
Liverpool Real Valladolid
Bidding must start at £5 million and must increase in increments of £0.5 million.
Due to the circumstances at the club, the current chairman has issued a deadline of 7pm Friday after which no more bids for the club will be accepted.
To bid, simply post the amount in this thread. The amounts must match the stated rules.
I'm pretty sure that this means it is too late to register your interest as bidding had effectively started. The time to declare interest was after he had initially published the clubs finances i believe?

But of the two that registered - Simon J has just put an £18.5m offer in for Arsenal, and Mark made a mistake and cant apply as he managers in the same country
So currently there is no-one from those that declared interest that is able to bid..........:)
Hence why myself and a few others placed interest in case Rich makes an exception or restarts the bidding clock so to speak
You make a good point actually Chris - I was assuming the final buy price doesnt really matter if you intend to wipe out some of the debt anyway as anything over the initial £5m minimum just goes into the clubs coffers
Rich
can you confirm this is the case - any successful bid (ie of £9m) will inject (ie £9m) Into the club?
Or is the bid just for control and final buy price is just to secure the club?
The fee is to buy the club and assets. The debts and bank loans are assets of the club so they get signed over to you when you buy the club, therefore nothing you pay towards owning rights can then go towards clearing debt assets.
This all looks more dodgy than a Portsmouth takeover from the far east!!
If no one has a problem with it, I'm happy to drop the bid to the original £5 million seeing as no one else bid. If someone has an issue, you can post or email if you want it to be private. Obviously Roma and Real Madrid are the only 2 with any real cause to object. Will leave it until Wednesday evening.
Oh the irony of anit corruption sentiments coming out of Juventus.............................:)
NB a crap joke at the morals of real life Juventus over recent years before anyone thinks im having a pop at Steve lol
As a legitimate businessman I resent that! All Juventus profits are used to help orphans ..............then we sign up all the orphans who are decent footballers and sell the rest to Primark to be employed at 1p a day making cheap t-shirts in a big shed in Lagos!
PS Or making merchandise for Man. United!!!!!
