Mexico 86 - what a World Cup. First one I was old enough to really enjoy and what a tournament - still my favourite.

Im amazed so little people are picking Brazil after they hammered Ireland in that friendly and allways show up well at the World Cups
I understand people picking Spain aswell tho but i think they will bottle it. Specially now Torres is out for the group games.

I picked other as at work we've got a world cup competition going on basically pick a team out of the hat and if they get to the semi final you get some chocolate if they reach the final you get £50 and if they win you get £100

The most memerable World Cup for me was France 98. It's the first one I can remember and the Chicken they had as their mascot was awesome.

I remember the 98 final more than any other. I was supporting Croatia in that world cup and I remember how lucky France were to get past them in the Semi Final. Brilliant final and loved it!

98 was the reason I started getting into football in the first place I was only about 7 and football had never interested up until that point the passion and euphoria of the world cup got me hooked and I've been an avid Norwich supporter since well you have to support the local team don't you :) plus I remember the chicken and the world cup song chumbawumba-tubthumping what a tune that was

yep Korea all the way shame i don't know any players of theirs I'm presuming they'll be some Kim's, Park's Cho's and Chuns playing for them though

I met Chumba Wumba. They had a gig in Pencoed Buffs club and got lost. Ended up giving them directions back to the club. I was dying to send them the wrong way mind, lol
