Any other business - any other predictions you'd like to make for the future?
1 ) Eddie Howe (Bournmouth) - Achieved wonders at Bournmouth despite limited squad, administration and a transfer embargo. To still get them promoted was special! 2 ) Simon Grayson (Leeds) - He's already shown that he's a very good manager at a young age taking Blackpool and Leeds out of League one. Firmly expect him to guide Leeds to a top half finish, possibley playoffs this season. 3 ) Aidy Boothroyd (Coventry) - I think he will do a great job with Coventry this season and take them close to the playoffs and possible move to a Premiership club mid-season.
Top 3 young players for the future, and why? 1 ) Phil Jones (Blackburn) - 18 years old and he's already marked both Drogba and Berbatov out of the game last season. Future England international without doubt. 2 ) Jack Wiltshire (Arsenal) - With a season of Prem football behind him at Bolton, I expect him to kick on whether he's at Arsenal or elsewhere on loan. Big star for the future. 3 ) Adam Matthews (Cardiff) - Already has suitors such as Man Utd, Villa and Arsenal all keeping tabs on him, this right back will play more games this season and prove why he's being touted as the best prospect outside the Premiership.
Top 3 upcoming teams for the future, and why? 1 ) Leeds - After a few years of heartache, they are back on the up. After regaining their Championship status, I expect them to be back in the Premiership within the next 3 seasons. 2 ) Cardiff City - Terrible end to this season but I think the new chairman and backers will want to get Cardiff City into the Premiership and with the likes of Craig Bellamy looking to join the club, I think they will go from strength to strength now and become an established Prem side. 3 ) Swindon Town - They play football the right way. I am writing this before their playoff final today with Millwall but I expect them to win tha and then be a very hard team to break down next season in the Championship.
Any other business - any other predictions you'd like to make for the future?
Real Madrid - I think this season will be a season of "firsts" for Real. With Jose in charge, I think they will go on to claim the Champions League for the first time in 10 years meaning they will have go beyond the Quaters for the first time in 7 seasons. I think they will win the Domestic Double and you can expect atleast one Englishman playing their football at the Bernabau next season.
Alex Fergsuon - I expect this to tbe the last season for Manchester United win or lose. I think they will do everything to claim their title back this season and that will be a good way to bow out.
Relegation from Premiership. The 3 teams I expect to be relegated from the Premiership this season will be Wigan, West Brom and West Ham! All teams that start with "W" and also.....NO BLACKPOOL
1 ) Liam Riste - Not new to the game and a tough last season at A.Villa but had managed to keep them up previously. Impressive start to job at Sevilla - will be interesting to see him guide them through a transitional period - Gareth Bale a very good signing
2 ) Andy Fletcher - Again not new to the game but a steady manager who seems to get the best out of the players at the club. I expect to see Napoli steadily improve before establishing themselves as a Serie A club in a few seasons time
3 ) Jamie Walker - Another experienced manager but only recently back in the game - I wouldn't be surpirsed to see Arsenal's youth players achieving good results in the short term before blossoming and really challenging for the league in a few seasons
Top 3 young players for the future, and why?
1 ) Kenan Kodro - player seems to be a goal machine. Plenty of goals to go along with his talent and young age can surely only see him gain steady improvements year on year before becoming one of the very best in the game
2 ) Gareth Bale - already top quality but still young and with 5 talent surely going to be the best LB on the game
3 ) Igor Akinfeev - already one of the top Goalkeepers on the game - will surely be the very best eventually especially once he learns to stop getting sent off
Top 2 upcoming teams for the future, and why?
1 ) Arsenal - top quality youth plus a quality manager can only equal a bright future
2 ) Napoli - steady improvement will see them achieve and maintain a place in the top league in a few seasons

Top 3 upcoming managers for the future, and why? 1 ) Jamie Walker (Arsenal) - technically a new manager, at a team built for the future with a great chairman 2 ) I think another manager will return from the depths of FA's history (possibly one who didn't carry on from old FA to new), but I don't know who lol. 3 ) Ray Farnell (Chievo) - he's done a fair amount of wheeling and dealing and seems to be on the message board all the time so his activeness will serve in his favour despite not really putting himself in the public eye very often. I've predicted what will happen with him over the next few seasons in the prediction bit, but would like to see him given a chance at a better club.
Top 3 young players for the future, and why? 1 ) Jack Collison (Valladolid) - young and strong across the board, also a bargain as he came with money in exchange for a player who wasn't and wouldn't ever be in the first team. Potential to be one of the best center mids around. 2 ) Fran Merida (Arsenal) - a 19 year old plaing in the Premiership with 8 goals and 4 assists in 7 games? He's going to be quite something. 3 ) Bojan Krkic (Barcelona) - Potential to be one of the best strikers in the game, he'd normally have to share this with Pato because they came through the youth system exactly the same age and stats so are going to be very similar players, but Pato is 22 so isn't eligible to be counted as a youth player lol.
Top 3 upcoming teams for the future, and why? 1 ) Arsenal - a top manager building a team of youth players for the future after going into debt. A couple of their stars were saved but in general many were sold. Investment is available most, if not every season. And they still have one of the biggest stadiums in the world. 2 ) Everton - If Mark stays and builds a team instead of relying on youth players then they could end up a reasonable team. Or if he doesn't do either of those things I think they'd go back down. 3 ) Leicester - With Steve J's backing and supply of youth they'd be a very good team, I think he needs to get a few more players owned by Leicester but because the chairman is so involved the current manager will become disheartened and look elsewhere but will be sacked before he finds a new job because nobody wants a want-away manager (see predictions below), so he'd need to bring in a new manager maybe?
Any other business - any other predictions you'd like to make for the future? May as well predict my personal target... Valladolid to win the league this season then to be challenging to win Europe the following year. Elsewhere in the world, I think Everton will get automatic promotion, Southampton wont get promoted and Steve DE will move elsewhere (but he might leave before the end of the season I think he's too independent to work under Newcombe), Rob at Fiorentina will move clubs, Chievo will get relegated but Ray will stay on for another season to try to get them promoted then will leave at the end of next season, Inter Milan to finish outside of both Europe qualifications then the manager either will leave or be sacked, AC Milan will try to sell Fulham, Reggina to get promoted through play-offs under JOP, Benjy will look for a job elsewhere then will be sacked from Leicester and Man City to finish above Chelsea in the league. Is that enough? Lol... But if theyre all right then I'll be amazed.
Just went back to this to see how accurate my predictions are at the half way stage:
So far, so good:
An old manager has returned (Amilcar), I'm top atm and have got through European group stage, Everton are top, Southampton aren't in the playoffs, Chievo are bottom, Luke's trying to sell Fulham, Benjy's no longer at Leicester.
The ones are that aren't right at the moment:
Steve DE hasn't been sacked/left (yet lol), Rob's still at Fiorentina, Inter are 6th (although only 1 place off being where I said they would be), Reggina are comfortably in an automatic promotion.
So out of 12 predictions, 8 are right so far, and of the ones that aren't right yet; all but one (Reggina) look like there's a possibility they might happen. Not bad!
