Hayden Dando was today announced as the new manager with Bristol City after a few weeks of negotiations.
Dando returnsn after having to take an abrupt break from the game following family problems but the new City manager has stated his ambition to make the Bristol side a comfortable championship side.
Dando said "Firstly i would like to say how great it feels to be back managing after a while out, i enjoyed my time in the game and was very sad to have to end it so abruptly but unfortunatly family circumstances dictated that i must. Bristol City have given me a chance to prove myself again and i cannot wait to get started, i really feel that this club has got a lot of potential and whilst we will need some strengthening and our main aim is survival i do believe we could have a decent season"
Dando's appointment was received with a mixed reaction from the City faithful who agreed that he had potential as a manager but did all say he must show the commitment he is promising to now he is at Ashton Gate.
His first task will surely be bringing in some new faces to help the side who are yet to win this season.
