it is my belief that I can take this young talented team back onto a platform they should be performing, I have a record of being loyal (only 2 clubs in 9 seasons), and like to plan long term to build around and develope youth from within the club.

My record over the last 9 seasons does make quite good reading...

Valencia 5 seasons in charge best place finish 4th in La Liga, I completely rebuilt an ageing squad on very little funds and competed well against the big 3.

most recently I have spent the last 3 seasons at Middlesboro,

1st season

I took over with 10 games remaining with the club in 9th place in the Championship, reached the play off final but lost in a penalty shoot out

2nd season

my first full season in charge we won promotion to the premier league after winning the play off's again making many changes to an ageing squad

3rd season

Relegated from the Premier League - the season was used as an experience for a young developing team no funds available to strengthen to try and retain premier league status

4th season

Sacked after 12 games with the club sitting in 6th position with 4 wins, 5 draws and 3 defeats

I have a good record of working with and developing young players and would like the chance to work with the talent that is already at deportivo.
