I would officially like to apply for the vacant managers position at Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers are a fantastic club, steeped in tradition and have recently fallen back into the Football League. I believe that I possess not just the skills but also the passion and determination to get this club back into the Premier League and towards the top again. I am a very keen Rovers fan so I also have added motivation to want this wonderful club to succeed. I feel that I have shown in recent times that I have the keys skills in the transfer market to mound a squad into a successful team and challange for promotion. I also feel that my tactical knowledge has come on alot over the past 2 seasons and this had alot to do with Southampton winning promotion last season and starting very well this season.

I believe that at Southampton, I managed to mould a team with top young talent but also the experience to challange for the "here & now" and that is what I would plan at Rovers. My plan would be to assemble a team capeable of promotion but also with my eye on bringing in young talent that can improve and help this team go forward. There is already very good young talent at the club and the team needs to be built around the likes of Phil Jones if we are going to be successful not just now but for many years to come. I am proud to call myself a Rovers fan and I hope that the Rovers board take into consideration not only my skills but the passion for this role.

Having managed the team for a very short spell previously, I feel there is alot of unfinished business for me at Ewood Park and I would love to get the oppertunity to manage them again and to make the team a real success. I really would love to manage this club again and to put in everything I have to get them promoted again this season.
