As of week 17 onwards Chairmen in FA will now have extended rules to work under. This is partly to help clarify what was a new developing idea when I initially added it into the rule pages, but its also to shut down certain loopholes that may have existed in between the introduction of this working idea and the inclusion of these new rules.
Chairmen will have to specify one of four settings for their club from now on:
Managed - automatic setting should you appoint a manager.
The other 3 all apply to unmanaged teams owned by someone in the game:
Chairman Loan Control - the chairman can loan in and out but no one can do any permanent deals.
Caretaker Loans Only - As I act on behalf of unmanaged clubs, this setting would mean I would take charge of loans for the team but no one can do any permanent deals.
Caretaker Complete Control - Ideal if the team needs rebuilding but you can't find anyone to become manager just yet. I would act just like I do for any other unmanaged club, having control over transfers and loans to help rebuild the team and maybe get it to a position where it became more attractive for a manager to be appointed then.
Please see the Rules for details on this.
Please see the Chairmans Office off the home page for information on the owned teams and their settings. This page has been updated to allow this new feature.
