so basically then you are just a football fan rather than a Cardiff fan GG, the fact you go to watch Cardiff is just a result of where you were born/live?
I think you should support your local team -which is Norwich which at the minute is fantastic except when you play a game with a lot of Cardiff fans haha
but I like and dislike other teams for example I like Arsenal,Crewe and Barnsley but I hate West Ham,Wolves Scum (Ipswich) I wouldn't class myself as a fan of any of them but I look out for there results each week so therefore I'm a Norwich fan and a general footy fanatic haha
I follow and put money into my local team Cardiff City,Im a Platinum Ambassador. Yes Killer i am a big football fan and watch all teams on tv and also play/manage my grassroots side. The fact its Cardiff is its my most local football league side yes, but that goes right back through the family aswell. I remember going at such a young age, i used to watch the trains on the back of the Bob Bank stand sitting down on a big wall !
I was born and bred in Cardiff but supported Liverpool for as long as I can remember. I don't think the fact that Liverpool was miles away mattered to me when I was nipper.
Don't get me wrong I'm from Cardiff and want then to do well etc but I wouldn't call myself a fan.
I don't doubt that your a Cardiff fan GG just making the point that most choose there teams for many different reasons at a young age (with the exception of Mr Coakley of course) and geography isn't always the deciding factor.
The only rule should be is that you never change clubs - lol

I'm a Man United fan! Been to cup games and league games. Also been to a few Champions League away games in Porto and Milan. Try calling me an armchair fan, or a plastic :)
Obviously follow Cardiff though too being a Cardiff lad. I would say though, if United played Cardiff, I'd 100% be supporting United
I also follow Kettering Town, I played there for two years and managed at youth level. I also keep an eye out for Wrexham scores and Welsh Prem sides I have been involved with.
I know a few who change clubs every season ! thats just to be argumentative i guess. Do you watch Liverpool much then ? I only ask cos if Cardiff is on your doorstep then why follow someone so far away ? Whats Lukes story then ?
well Luke was afraid of footballs and pidgeons until he was 20 - lol
yeah I have been but not as much as I would want. If finances allowed I would go a lot more.
been to see Cardiff as well although not for years, the season they got promoted from the 3rd to 2nd Div I think was the last time..........no actually it was the Merthyr game at the start of last season

Allways looking for players. Fell free to sign up. Got to be next season now tho cos transfer window has closed. Gives you a chance to get fit in the summer. Ill let you know when we start pre-season training if you like. Where do you live ? We got a few boys from Cardiff area, a load from Bridgend area,a couple from up Ogmore Valleys, only 4 locals left now from around here
Happy days, sounds like a pretty good team then GG! Quite successful too after only 4 seasons.. Cant fault that!
I play for Fairwater FC (the area I live in) in the Senior League.. Im 23 now, and been there since I was 15. Had quite a few successful years, but we got refused promotion to the Welsh League (lowest tier) two seasons in a row a couple years ago. Since then, alot of players have left to play at a higher level, and we have slipped down the league a bit.
I was also at Treforest in the Amateur League at the beginning of this season for half a season, before going back to Fairwater. Awesome facilities up Treforest, but just found it too clicky..
Iv played against Fairwater up in Lewistown a few years ago. My mate Damian played for Treforest last season (Polish Winger/Striker) i think hes there again this year
I briefly know Damian. His surname Kwiatkowski? He's at Ynyshir/Wattstown this season.. Played against him a few weeks back. Think he's just getting back into it after a bad injury if I rightly remember him saying! He did say he's going back to Treforest next season though

I wasnt mate, I was there 2002 to 2003 and retired to coach in 2004 and 2005 under Dominic Genovise, I was there when Gascoine came in and took some of his coaching sessions.
I still live in Milton Keynes in 1994 and played for a team called Stony Stratford Town FC, played aganist Kerry Dixon who was managing Letcworth Town at the time.
I just sold my house which was in Burton Latimer exactly bewteen KTFC and Rushden and Diamonds.
I also managed Rushden FC who are now Rushden and Higham FC and play at the old Rushden Town FC ground before they moved and became Rushden and Diamonds (the diamonds bit is after another local team, the Irthlingborough Diamonds)
Like Ash, dad gave me no choice but to support Man Utd. Brought up supporting them although played more football than watched. Was in the Yeovil Town youth academy at 14.
not in europe but i'm a fan of the following teams:
Italy - Inter been supporting them since, renewed by love affair when they signed suazo in 2007, hes the first central american to make it to the big leagues.
Spain - Villarreal enjoy there style of play and especially like the Jersey boy Rossi
England - Tottenham belizean based business man has shares, lol, but im a big fan of lennon, bale and modric.
Mr Bishop you forgot to include all clubs that have a player, coach manager, physio, bottle washer, kit man, coach driver, dinner lady, director who were born in wales or someone connected to the club who has a second cousin twice removed who knows someone from wales

VERY happy canary fan up back into the Premiership again never would have believed we'd get back to back promotions I think it'll be between Cardiff and Swansea in the play off final and Reading and Nottingham Forest were pretty poor when we played them but you never know with play-offs
anyway Good luck to all the Cardiff fans on this messageboard :)
