Cadiz fans were treated to a brilliant comeback in their cup game tonight against a decent Getafe team. They were 2-0 down after 25 minutes, but came back to win with an 83rd minute third goal. Their young star Millan started the comeback in the 28th minute.
Cadiz fans have been saying how good it is to see the team spirit the players have, and some were celebrating in local bars in the old town this evening.
They are drawn against Espanyol in the 3rd Round away from home. Cadiz fans are not expecting a result there, given the quality of some of the Espanyol players. Some fans would have preferred one of the big teams from La Liga. However, they are bound to enjoy their day out.
Gola Italian Morning Press caught up with Atalanta manager Dale Price following the cup win last night
Mr Price a cracking win last night and you rested some of your bigger players that must make you happy yeah?
Yes it is very satisfying to see us come from 1 nil down to win the game and set up a 3rd round game against Chievo a game that I feel we are more than capable of winning and taking the club further than it has ever gone in the cup before.
Do you think resting the players could have come back and bit you?
It could have but I was very confident of the win I have to be honest though I was a little worried when they scored but always believed we had the beating of them.
This week you play Lazio how are you feeling going into this game?
Well its going to be very hard for us they are a team of superstars and they should be beating us but we have a plan to stop them playing and make it very hard for them to get any flow to their game if we can do this I am confident of a draw. But if I was the Lazio manager and didnt win by at least 4 I would be unhappy. It is going to be a good game and one I have been looking forward to since the start of the season.
Is the league going the way you though it would?
Yes and no I knew Lazio would be beating everyone because thats what they are supposed to do they are a Seria A club playing in Seria B. Catania are the surprise package but I think they may slip off the pace during the season.
Good luck for the game this week
Thanks

At the prematch interview ahead of the home game league against Birmingham the manager Rob Holden was still in a party mood off the back of his teams victory at the City of Manchester Stadium. "We might be a league one team but we played a premier league side off the pitch in that game. It wasn't an upset but a humiliation."
Sheffield Wednesday fans had sold out their away allocation for the trip and after four minutes Mido had put their team behind. After twenty minutes the attack partnership of David Cotterill (2) and Gustavo Pinedo (3) took a hold and fired the Owls to a 5 - 1 away win and in to the third round of the cup. "Our midfield strangled theirs. I was really happy to see the two attackers putting away their chances. We could have finished with even more."
The third round draw has placed them against another premier league team but Tottenham might not think drawing the league one leaders is an easy draw now. "We think we can give Tottenham a good game. I have always said I wanted to do well in the cup in my first season here. The targets demand promotion but I wanted to promise something more and I won't be pleased if we beat Manchester City just to lose to Tottenham."

La Gazzeto della Sport flocked to Lazio's training ground to accept the invite to speak to Ray Farnell.
Farnell, appointed to restore the fortunes of the Rome club has not been a public figure since his high profile move but an open and talkative Farnell was ready to speak for the first time....
Ray, Chievo to Lazio and high pressure, money spent and many expectations, are you happy with things so far?
We are excellent, myself, the club and the chairman, forget what you guys write in the press - we are on course with the clubs ambitions and we are all working to the same game plan.
Which is?
Simple, we are looking to grow in stature, to be a giant of Italian football in time and more importantly make the fans proud of this great club once again.
So Casillas, world class! purchased and gone, news of defensive rock Toure on the move and shooting sensation Sahar moved on, where will this all stop?
What I will say is this, the new chairman provided the foundations for this club to move forward and handed me the reigns, lets not look at who has been moved on but who has come in, Emiliano will be a world class left back given time and up front Arnulfo's vision is different to most strikers.
Some quarters will say this would not be in line with what has been asked of you?
Well my response is this, you will see new transfers in the next two weeks, Defendi joins us from Liverpool and N'Zogbia links up from AC Milan with Kolo going to see out his days at a higher level.
This along with 10 million spent on a new youth academy and an extra 7000 seats this season accompanied by a further stadium expansion next season of 8000 seats potentially and a revamped club shop we are where we want to be.
Sounds like you will be judged awfulluy quickly Ray?
How do you eat an elephant lads!? - In very small chunks! - behave and I will see you soon!
Italian sports caught up with an angry looking Atalanta Manager Dale Price before tonights game with Lazio. Mr Price you dont look happy whats up? Ill tell you whats up me and the lads got to the ground today to have a little kick about like we do at every other away game we play with no problems but today we were told that the Lazio manager didnt want anyone on the pitch. I tried to have a word with Mr Farnell but he refused to come out of his office. Thats not a very good way to act to a fellow manager is it? No its not maybe he has been hanging around the superstars in his team to long or all the money floating around the club has got to his head but something is not right with him. With excitement growing around the ground for this clash of the two Welsh managers some fans eyes may be drawn to the side of the pitch rather than the game Mr price was then asked his final thoughts on the game It is going to be a very hard game for us but we just have to play our game and not worry about them they are the favourites and all the pressure will be on them if we get something from the game great but we are not supposed too so it would just be a bonus. Thanks for the chance to say my piece. As Mr Price left to head back to the school playground where his team are having their pre-match kick about.

After waiting for a full hour after the match the Siena manager eventually came out of the ground and granted me a few minutes.
PRESS
I don't suppose you are happy with the draw?
TERRY
I think the draw is a very good result. Ascoli are a quality side who will be there at the end of the season. Keith Morris is putting a very useful team together and if you had offered me the draw this morning I would have snapped your hand off.
It was a very edgy game with both sides giving very little away. Had the penalty decision gone our way it may have been a different result.
No, if we can play like that for the rest of the season I will be more than happy.
PRESS
Are you still happy with the way the season is going?
TERRY.
There is a long way to go before this league is decided.
It was a good team effort today. Gimelli was outstanding and is an inspiration to the youngsters, whilst Tavera showed his shooting ability with a really good goal in the 80th minute. No problem.
