There are a number of possible changes in the near future that could take place, and I thought I'd put some of them out one here and see what people thought, and see if people developed the ideas further. Feel free to leave comments as well as voting.
On this one we currently have Av. Form. Whether people use this or not is one point. It was introduced to help people analyse their players. Do people use it? Or do you just look at the goals column and not this?
A possible option is to have a morale column. The idea would be that this effects how a player performs, whether to their fullest capacity or below par. Morale could be effected by being dropped, moving clubs, being injured, scoring, assisting, being booked, etc.
Picking them in a team, them contributing to a match in a positive way (goal, assist), obviously sending them out on loan would help them achieve all the previously mentioned things if it meant they got game time.
Also a possible link to one of the other thread suggestions I've posted. Maybe a coach could either
a) reduce the loss of morale when a player isn't playing, or
b) could have a set number of "boosts" that can be used by the manager during the season. Say a good assistant had 5 "boosts" you could use at any stage in the season, on any player in your team to raise their morale, like calling them into your office for a chat could do.
Again, all options people can discuss. The point of this update area is firstly to let you lot know whats happening, and secondly to let you develop ideas into the finished article so the new features are how you all want them to be.
i'd love morale in this.. rotating players would have better effects.. thus.. a smaller team betters it chance against say a bigger team, big players, but low morale
When I was at forest I had a CB who played his 1st match and scored a goal and we won and when the team sheets got updated his form was at 5.6 I think, so I'm guessing goals don't necessary mean good form.
