At the moment the current system has 3 blank spaces in the tactics area. We're using 3/6 of those spaces for the tactics currently used in the game. Are there any things managers would like added? I do think that the extra 2 tactics that were added (philosophy and marking) have been successful in that it gives managers a chance to alter the way their team plays slightly, while other managers have just kept on normal rather than trying to find the extra slight strengths or weaknesses in adapting that style of play.
Closing down - how much your team presses without the ball?
Tackling - chance to increase risk of more bookings for slight increase of winning back the ball and damaging other teams fitness slightly more than usual, or equally decreasing risk of bookings but winning the ball less?
Tempo - speed of the play effecting fitness, but also adding positives to teams who play at quicker or slower speeds if it matches how the players stats suggest they could play. ie. a slow tempo player in a team playing fast would be less effective, but a fast tempo player playing in a fast tempo team would have his skills maximised.
Set piece taker - again possible slight bonus for picking a well suited player for this role.
Playmaker - again possible slight bonus for picking a well suited player for this role.
Captain - again possible slight bonus for picking a well suited player for this role.
Team talk - choice of various standard pre-match team talks, with the effects depending on how your choice matches the situation/players you've picked to play.
Just some options, if you think of others you could add them for discussion. This isn't necessarily a change for the near or far future, just thoughts.
I like the ones suggested. Also what about selecting a training regime for that week? If we are getting morale in the game you could pick a team bonding week to improve morale or a hard graft regime for the week to boost fitness levels. It might need more than just two choices but I can only think of those two for now if anyone else can come up with any

tackling and tempo would cut it imo, although they are all nice suggestions. Sometimes in games (derbys and tight matches) u need to turn up the heat just a little to ensure maximum output from your players they might be crucial games to win for whatever reason and increasing the tackling could help. Also, retention of possession could increase with slow tempo while overall attacking could increase with fast tempo
I think another defence tactic would be good. Most of the evo profiles have all shown up as attacking managers so perhaps the tactics are too weighted for attacking bias.

I agree,
but i think thats because using defence tactic is terrible your never going to win or draw and using counter gets you barely any shot attempts which makes that pointless, thats why evryone uses attacking tactics.
well.. thats not necessarily true.. using offensive tactics with say.. zonal marking does render some very balanced results.. you would think my team is at the bottom of the table but not really!
i like it the way it is tbh the captin idea sounds good though or the set piece taker maybe a new colum could come on the team sheets in the bonus section
