Following the collapse of the loan deal with Napoli last week for their striker Mario Marrotta, Wolves have announced that they will be securing the services of Lazio's young striker Barreto. JD Jaques publicly thanked Lazio manager Ray Farrell for his help in securing the striker this week.
The error in last weeks loan appears to have been at Napoli's end and their manager Andy Fletcher has contacted JD Jaques to apologise over the paperwork error. Having accepted the apology, Wolves will not be commenting further on the matter.
The Wolves manager did not comment on the forthcoming Cup fixture where they will be travelling to face Midlands rivals Aston Villa, in what some are predicting will be a tricky fixture for the away team.
