Villerreal have today been promoted back to La Liga. They sealed promotion with a 2-1 win away at Real Mallorca.Its been a great season with the side being top of the leauge from week one. We have tracked manager Dave Davies-Evans down for a few words.

Its been a fantastic season and i am very proud of all the players and staff at this great club. Also i would like to thank the managers who have helped out with loans this season. I always knew this club was a la liga club and they are back where they belong.
Dave you have thanked the staff and players, but surely you must take most of the credit???
Football is a team game. But personally i am absouluteley extatic. This is the best point in my short career. I have in the past failed to get over the finnshing line. Now we are one more win away from being crowned champions. Proud proud day!!!!
What of the future now Dave??
My future is with Villerreal. However with a statement coming out from the powers who run this game soon, my future maybe decided by that statement. I am very happy at this club.

I intend to. However we have a job to finnish here and that is to win the leauge.Hopefully we can do that next week as im flying back to Wales to watch my boyhood club Cardiff City Destroy Liverpool.
