John Brady - Chelsea had fallen from grace with the arrival of Liverpool on the scene and their investment in older experienced players, but this season Chelsea have fought back. With one game to go they have already been crowned champions of the Premiership and have yet to lose in the league, sitting 12 points clear at the top. In the English Cup they play on Tuesday night in the final against Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the hope of clinching the English double. In the Euro Cup they faired less well though, crashing out bottom of their group without a single point.
Alex Wilson - New boys to the Premiership this season, they were targeted a top 9 finish this season. However with one game to go they sit 3rd, a Euro Cup qualification spot secured, and only 2 points behind 2nd placed Liverpool who they play in the final league game of the season. In the English Cup they reached the semi-finals before losing to Premiership winners Chelsea.
Gareth Gardner - Another new team to the Premiership, many expected them to struggle and they were also targeted a top 9 finish. However Middlesbrough completely reinvented the style of football they play, catching many teams off guard. Their ability to shut out even the best teams saw them grab a number of 0-0 draws with top clubs and even some smash and grab 1-0 wins. They have already secured 7th place in the table this season in the league, although crashed out of the English Cup in round 3 to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
Luke Coakley - Cardiff have struggled to perform on 3 fronts this season and their league form has taken the hit as a result. Falling into 6th place when at times, a top 3 finish was up for grabs, however their UEFA Cup performances have given fans hope. Coming top of their group with only 1 loss and 4 wins, they have reached the final and will face Spanish giants Real Madrid in the final. In the Englsih Cup they also went out early underperforming against struggling Manchester City in round 3.
