Serie A: Managers FA Manager of the Season

Candidates

Callum Ward - Genoa currently sit top of Serie A 3 points clear needing a point from their final match to secure the title. They have only failed to win once this season against Juventus in the league. They have been the heavily invested side haunted with failed targets and sacked managers in recent times. In the Italian Cup they have reached the final and face Serie B side Sampdoria. In the Euro Cup they reached the Semi-Finals before losing to Italian rivals Juventus.

Steve Jenkins - Juventus sit 2nd in Serie A 3 points behind Genoa but with a huge goal difference thanks to their 124 goals scored, the highest in all 7 leagues currently by 1 goal more than Valencia, the only 2 sides to currently exceed 100 goals scored this season. They only sit behind Genoa in the league, the rivalry that has siezed Italian football in the Genoa side backed heavily with investment, against the Juventus side built on less money but over a much longer period. In the Italian Cup they reached the Semi-Finals before losing to Genoa. In the Euro Cup however, they have reached the final and will play surprise Championship package Sheffield Wednesday.

Daniel Robertson - Fiorentina were some way off the pace when the chairman and manager both left and a new manager was brought in from Serie B where Reggina had been flying high in the promotion race and had reached the later stages of the Italian Cup. Since then Fiorentina have jumped not only out of the bottom 3 places but now sit 7 points clear of the drop zone in 7th place.

Voting ends Saturday.
