La Liga: Managers FA Manager of the Season

Candidates

Simon Jenkins - Real Valladolid have again won the Spanish league sitting 4 points clear with a game remaining and 1 goal away from having scored 100 goals this season in La Liga. In the Spanish Cup they have reached the final and will play 2nd placed Real Madrid on Tuesday to see if they can clinch to Spanish double. In the Euro Cup they reached the Quarter-Finals before losing to another Spanish side Valencia.

Jonnie Adams - Arriving to turn around the fortunes of a struggling giant Real Madrid have secured 2nd place in La Liga already this season winning 19 of their 21 games. In the Spanish Cup they face La Liga champions Real Valladolid in the final on Tuesday whilst in the UEFA Cup they have reached the final as well, facing surprise package Cardiff.

Stuart Price - Valencia have finished 3rd this season securing Euro Cup qualification next year. They 123 goals scored so far is the 2nd highest in all 7 leagues just 1 behind Juventus, and they are the only 2 sides to have scored over 100 league goals so far this season. In the Spanish Cup they reached the Semi-Finals before losing to Real Valladolid, and in the Euro Cup they knocked Real Valladolid out before losing to Sheffield Wednesday in the Semi-Finals.

Kenny Nicholson - Newly promoted Deportivo were targeted a top 9 finish this season but have exceeded that finishing 5th with a game spare, only 5 points behind Spanish giants Barcelona, and 10 points clear of Atletico Madrid in 6th. Their attacking football unusual for a newly promoted side to play so open, has seen them win 12 and lose 7 in the league but their do or die football has paid off with their league position. In the Spanish Cup they knocked out Atletico Madrid en route to a Semi-Final loss to Real Madrid.

Voting ends Saturday.
