I know Richard is aiming to make this as close to real football as possible.
If you watched the Liverpool game last night you will know there is a lot of talk about whether Rafa is right to rotate his team and leave Torres on the bench.
I have asked in the past about whether there is any advantage to playing the same team week in week out which in real football seems to make a supposed difference as players get to know how each other play, and have been told there is no advantage.
In this game as a result of what I see as a bad decision to only boost players fitness at the end of the season rather than after they have been rested for a while, it means that teams have to realistically rotate their squad. However can the game give an advantage to a team who use the same or similar players each week?
I dont think any of the managers on here nows exactly how its going to work,i agree that a think its unfair that if you rest a player that they should be able to replenish, dont no if it would be hard for Richard to put that into the game but time will tell, also theres the other matter on how well players progress when played, the way Richard put it to me is if a player doesnt play for most of the season he wont improve very much which kinds of circles itself back round to the fitness aspect again,if you have to play players nearly every game for them to improve surely there has to be something done about the fitness aspect of the game,i personaly dont no what way it works or how many games a player has to play before his rating goes up,i guess we will all have to wait till the end of the season for these results.
David, you're simply guessing at the improvement system when no one knows. You're at no disadvantage which seems to be the angle you're going at in all these posts. Honestly, you're not being hard done by here!! Remember, younger players tire slower and improve quicker, so those players you want to improve are actually the players who can ghandle more games in a season...
JD, although its a decent idea to have bonuses for keeping players in the team for consecutive matches, its actually not very feesable. A record would have to be kept of the number of games a player has played in a row which means 11 new stats per team updated each week, times this by the number of teams... and you get a lot of fresh weekly updating for a small bonus.
I'll try and find the fitness thread now but I feel like I've answered this point various times already this season and still people are bringing it up in fresh threads. Hopefully I can reiterate points to clear it up.
