Loans (again) Instant recall

Why cant clubs loan out players on the understanding the player could be recalled any time?

Im sure some of the 'top clubs' would be more willing to loan 2 or 3 decent players out if they could recall them instantly rather than have to wait the whole season or half a season should the need arise (injuries, suspensions etc).

The host club would have to agree to this understanding with the parent club at the outset when they do the loan deal.
Other season or half season loans would not be affected.

The parent club could at any time terminate the loan without the host clubs specific consent at the time of the recall.

Host clubs would benefit by getting better players in which they cant get at the moment because the parent clubs dont want to gamble on injuries by leaving themselves short of back up.

Parent clubs would benefit as their players wouldnt be stagnating in the stiffs but getting much needed match practise.

Everyones a winna

good idea but i think there should be a weeks notice from the time the request is put in. also i think host clubs should be able to cancel loan players too

It goes without saying the recall would only happen AFTER the 'next game'.
Sorry if I hadnt made that clear.

Good point re the host club cancelling too. I hadnt thought of that.

yeah so if you loaned me dida for instance. you would have to put on your teamsheet for week 7 "recall dida" so i would still get to play him for week 8 before he left, thats what i mean. to give the host club a chance to get someone else in.

i think its something that should happen really

Yep.  Thats exacly what I mean.
Also the cancelling club would, as a courtesy, inform the other club of his intentions.

Not sure if this is possible or how much extra time & work it would involve for Richard & the guys but it would get more top players involved in the game rather than 'parking' them at a rich club.

Thanks for your support Paul.

there is a problem with that lads. there are limits of 4 half season loans and 2 full season loans, so if you are a small club and rely on the loan deals, and a club recalls players from you early in the season, you have used up some of your limit and will have to do without loans for the rest of the season

thanks

well first of all, in the case of feeder teams i think it would be best if 1 club was only able to recall 1 player back per week.

secondly i thought the limits were for the amount of platers on loan in your squad. so therefore, if you had 4 players on a half season loan and one was recalled, you could go out and loan another 1
