As we now have weather changes, and stadiums are not all of the same quality - what about the occasional cancelled match, and also maybe fixtures moved if teams have cup games at home or in Europe?
This would mean that some teams in the leagues would have games in hand - which would make analysis of where you were in the league more interesting in terms of your planning, would also increase pressure in the run in if some teams were playing a couple of extra games in the last week for example. Or there could be a small number of (televised and the club gets some extra cash) league games on Monday night cup dates for teams not involved in that cup competition?
This would also add an extra dimension to squad management.
The tv games sounds good as we could all do with raising finances. I think the games in hand would be a nightmare for Rich though, however i think this is also a good idea.
