I guess it might come down to what would practically save Rich more time - the current system or a revised one?

And you you do kind of bugger up the 2 full and 4 half tactical loan setup which I think is quite good at showing manager ability etc the way you set the loans up

I see your logic though - its annoying to lose the player for a week and a loan slot to get them back

This is a great idea and I can't see how it would make any extra work for Rich.

Maybe instead of half season loans, every half season loans could be full season loans with the option to recall at half way.

So:

2 Full season loans (like now)
4 Full season loans - Recallable at the half way stage

This way you must recall on the 11th week any loans of the latter option above, otherwise they stay put.
